You must be at least 18 years of age or have an established credit file in the U.S., be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien and/or have a valid social security number and be able to present sufficient verifiable personal data to effectuate access to a consumer credit reports or related services. Digital is not responsible for the inability of a customer to obtain products and services on this site due to negligence, submission of outdated or incorrect identifying data, submission of outdated address information or the general lack of knowledge of current identifiers necessary to obtain the desired reports or services offered herein.
 
Identifying Information/Warranty/Improper Use
 
By using this site you agree that all personal identifying information supplied as part of the purchase of products and services is true and correct.
 
Fair Credit Reporting Act and other Federal laws
 
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”) permits the disclosure of information contained in a consumer credit report. Digital is not a credit reporting agency (“CRA”) as defined under the FCRA. Credit reports, composite reports or information contained therein is provided through Intersections, Equifax, Experian and Trans-Union as requested through this site. As noted below the FCRA provides that in certain instances your credit report may be provided free of charge. You are not required to purchase your credit report in order to dispute inaccurate information or to receive said reports from Equifax, Experian or Trans-Union under the provisions of the FCRA which provide for the reports to be provided free of charge. The Fair Credit Reporting Act grants consumers other important rights regarding credit, credit files, and related matters. By law, you have the right to:
 
  • Know what your credit file contains.
  • Be told by a credit reporting agency the nature, substance, and sources of the information.
  • Receive a free copy of your credit file if you are denied credit, insurance, or employment, or are unemployed, a recipient of public welfare assistance, or believe you have been the victim of fraud.
  • Review your credit file in person.
  • Take someone (lawyer, friend, relative, etc.) with you to review your file.
  • Have disputed information investigated within 30 days.
  • Have inaccurate information deleted.
  • Have information deleted that cannot be verified.
  • Know who has received your credit file in the past year (or two years for employment purposes).
  • Include a brief written statement as a permanent part of your credit file.
  • Have derogatory, credit-related information deleted after seven years.
  • Have listing of bankruptcy deleted after 10 years (successfully completed Chapter 13 deleted after seven years.)
  • Be notified if a company has requested an investigative report about you.
  • Know the nature and the substance of the investigative report but not the sources.
  • Know the name and address of the credit reporting agency responsible for preparing a credit file used to deny you credit, insurance, or employment, or to increase the cost of your insurance or credit.
  • Request more information about the nature and the scope of an investigation from a company pursuing an investigative report.
  • Have your name and address excluded from Òpre-approvedÓ offer lists.

Notice to Illinois Residents: Many government records are available free or at nominal cost from government agencies. Credit reporting agencies are required by law to give you a copy of your credit report upon request at no charge or for a nominal fee.
 
The states of Massachusetts, Vermont, Colorado, Maryland, and New Jersey permit consumers to obtain one (1) credit file per credit reporting agency per year, free of charge
 
The state of Georgia provides consumers the ability to obtain two (2) credit files per reporting agency per year.
